Life has not stopped changing and moving fast over the last decades. Technology has become part of our lives and nowadays we can no imagine a simple day without using it. Therefore, education has also been affected by this new era and teachers have had to adapt their way of teaching to new generations.

The first day of TIC’s class we were talking about some of the most common tools that teachers may use:

Google: It is the leading Internet search engine. Here, everything you can imagine you can find it on it.
YouTube: It is a website that allows people to show people videos they made. This video site is a key learning resource where sharing useful materials.
Skype: With this platform, it is possible to have one-to-one or group conversations in real time with people all over the world.
Google Docs and Drive: This cloud storage service is considered such as work revolution. It allows users to store files in the cloud, synchronize them across devices and share them. It is possible to create and edit documents, drawings, slides individually or collaboratively.
PowerPoint: This tool provides the user with an interface to design multimedia slides to be displayed. It could be defined such as the new blackboard.
Facebook: In education, this social networking website is used to support both course sites and study groups.
Twitter: In this site, you can connecting with people in your field. You may share your ideas, thoughts, and news provided that you are capable to write them in 280 characters.

So, even if you are not friendly with technology (that’s my case) but you want to become a good teacher, you better follow the tips and tricks I will post here about my TIC’s class!
